About Tools Ledger

Tools Ledger keeps a running account of software and AI tools: what each one does, what it costs this month, what changed in the last release and who it suits. Entries are short, dated and corrected in place when a fact moves.

We cover the tools small teams pay for: marketing, sales, support, analytics, writing and the AI layer now sitting on top of all of them.

How we work

Every article is checked against a source we can name before it goes out, carries its date and the date of its last change, and is corrected in place when we get something wrong. Articles are written by the Tools Ledger desk and carry the desk’s name, not an invented byline. About two articles a day is the most we publish on one site.
