If you want a tool where adding a teammate leaves the bill unchanged, start with Sendible or Planable. As of October 2026, both include unlimited users on their entry plans: $30 and $33 a month billed yearly, or $35 and $39 monthly. If your team answers comments and DMs that turn into customers, BetterSocials Team is the one to pick, at $79 a month billed yearly, or $99 monthly, for 12 social accounts and unlimited teammates. Buffer Team is cheaper at a few channels, at $10 per channel a month billed yearly ($12 monthly).
Three price bands, and why we sorted by them
Sendible, Planable and Buffer Team make up the cheapest band, under $50 a month billed yearly for a small setup. Metricool Advanced and BetterSocials Team sit under a hundred dollars a month. SocialPilot Ultimate, Loomly Beyond and Statusbrew Enterprise cost more, or are sold on contract.
We sorted by price band because the person on a small team who picks the tool usually has to defend the monthly line on a card statement. We break that order once. BetterSocials Team comes third, right after Sendible and Planable, because it is our pick for a team that answers comments and DMs. The free band is empty. Buffer's free plan is one user, and Metricool's free plan has no team members.
The pricing models need one definition each:
- Per seat means you pay a set price for every person who logs in, as with Hootsuite, Sprout Social and Agorapulse.
- Fixed users with add-ons means a plan includes a set number of logins and sells extras, as with Later.
- Unlimited users means anyone on your team can log in at no extra charge, though the plan still caps accounts, channels or workspaces.
Where these prices come from
Every price for Sendible, Planable, Buffer and the other competitors here comes from the vendor's own pricing page, read on October 16, 2026 from a US connection. Each billing toggle was clicked, so you see the yearly and monthly figure where the vendor lists both. All prices are in US dollars, and "billed yearly" means the per-month figure shown with annual billing.
BetterSocials's prices are from its pricing page as of October 2026. Of 17 pricing pages read, we kept the eight tools that offer unlimited users on at least one plan. When a price changes, we correct the entry here.
Sendible: unlimited users from $30 a month
Sendible is the pick for small agencies that want unlimited users on the cheapest plan. Core costs $30 a month billed yearly, or $35 monthly, as of October 2026, per Sendible's pricing page.
Every Sendible plan includes unlimited users. A new hire, a freelancer or a client contact can log in without changing the bill. That puts Sendible at the bottom of the lowest band.
Before you buy, check how many social profiles Core covers and what its inbox handles. Those limits decide whether $30 is your real price.
Planable: $33 a workspace, inbox extra
Planable is for teams that want pricing per workspace. A workspace is one separate space for a brand or client, with its own calendar and members. Basic is $33 per workspace a month billed yearly, or $39 monthly, as of October 2026, per Planable's pricing page.
Planable's Basic and Pro plans include unlimited users. Pro is $49 per workspace a month billed yearly, or $59 monthly. Planable states on that page that its pricing is not per seat.
The social inbox costs extra: a few dollars per workspace a month billed yearly, or $9 monthly. It covers comments, DMs and AI replies. So Basic with the inbox comes to roughly forty dollars a month billed yearly, or $39 plus $9, just under fifty dollars, monthly.
BetterSocials Team: $79 for 12 accounts and the DMs
BetterSocials Team is for teams whose comments and DMs bring in customers. As of October 2026, it costs $79 a month billed yearly, or $99 monthly, for 12 social accounts and unlimited teammates. You invite people by email from Settings, then Team.
Creator and Pro are one login each, so they don't belong in this list. Creator is $29 a month, or $24 billed yearly, for four accounts. Pro is $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for six accounts.
Sendible and Buffer cost less if you only schedule. What BetterSocials Team adds is one inbox for comments and DMs from Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, plus comments from YouTube, Threads and LinkedIn Company Pages.
- AI answers comments and DMs in your voice, working from your past replies and the rules you write. It can draft for your approval or reply on its own.
- A keyword in an Instagram or Facebook comment sends the person a DM with your link.
- On TikTok and YouTube, the keyword posts a public reply with the link instead.
- Contacts are unlimited, and the 4,000 AI credits a month are shared across the team.

Buffer Team: $10 a channel, replies to comments
Buffer Team suits teams that mostly schedule posts and answer comments. As of October 2026, it costs $10 per channel a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly, with unlimited team members, per Buffer's pricing page.
Buffer's cheaper plans are one user each. Essentials is $5 per channel a month billed yearly, or $6 monthly. The free plan covers up to three channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel. Paid plans come with a 14-day trial.
Buffer's community inbox comes on every plan. It answers comments on Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads and other networks. If you want DMs alongside comments in one place, BetterSocials Team puts both in its inbox, with AI replies.
Metricool Advanced: the team starts at $53
Metricool is for small businesses that want analytics and an inbox in one tool. Unlimited team members start on Advanced, from $53 a month billed yearly, or $67 monthly, as of October 2026.
Metricool's free plan covers one brand with no team members, but it already includes an inbox that reads YouTube comments. If you want a comment to trigger a reply with your link, BetterSocials offers keyword comment-to-DM. That places Metricool under a hundred dollars a month for a team that cares about reports.
SocialPilot Ultimate: $170 for client seats
SocialPilot is the pick for agencies that need client seats. Ultimate costs $170 a month billed yearly, or $200 monthly, as of October 2026, and includes unlimited users and unlimited client seats.
SocialPilot caps users on its lower plans. Essentials is one user at $25.50 a month billed yearly, or $30 monthly. Standard includes three users and Premium six, with each extra user at $5 a month. The social inbox, with replies to comments and messages, starts on Standard.
Loomly Beyond: $249 and up
Loomly is for larger teams with a bigger budget. Beyond, where unlimited users start, costs $249 a month billed yearly, or $332 monthly, as of October 2026.
Loomly Starter includes three users for $49 a month billed yearly, or $65 monthly. If your team stays at three, Starter is the cheaper route. Past three, Beyond puts Loomly in the top band.
Statusbrew Enterprise: unlimited users on contract
Statusbrew is for enterprises buying on a custom contract, because unlimited users come only on Enterprise. Lite is one user at $69 a month billed yearly, or $89 monthly, as of October 2026.
On Standard and Premium, Statusbrew adds $30 to $35 a user a month. That makes Statusbrew a per-user tool below Enterprise. Small teams will find better value higher on this page.
A team of five, priced out
Hootsuite and Sprout Social are the tools a team of five usually leaves for this list. The table below shows the cheapest plan with unlimited users for seven of the eight tools, in the same order as the entries above. Competitor prices were read on vendor pricing pages on October 16, 2026, and BetterSocials's are as of October 2026.

Tools with unlimited users price the accounts instead:
- Buffer Team is $10 per channel a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly, so six channels come to about sixty dollars billed yearly, or just over seventy monthly.
- BetterSocials Team costs $79 billed yearly, or $99 monthly, for up to 12 accounts.

Buffer is cheaper than BetterSocials at six channels. At 12 channels, Buffer Team is 12 x $10 = $120 a month billed yearly, so BetterSocials Team costs less there. The sixth hire costs nothing extra on either.
